Our parish thrift store is located in our former school building at 101. N. Peters Street.  What makes our thrift store special is that it is operated and run by volunteers.  The hours of operation are Monday through Saturday 9 am - 3 pm.  We are always looking for dedicated volunteers who can help cover shirts.  Ideally, we would love to have two individuals on per shift.  Typically, volunteers are scheduled for a 3-hour shift either 9 am to Noon or Noon to 3 pm.   If you enjoy working with people, please consider volunteering in our thrift store.  

We see our parish thrift store not as a business (yes, we do make some money) but more importantly as a ministry for we are able to provide basic needs such as clothing at a very reasonable price.   Many people who are struggling want to give back, they want to purchase things on their own and our little thrift shop allows for that to happen.

So, if you don't have time to give to volunteer in the thrift store, the next time you are cleaning out your closets at home, please consider making your donations to our thrift store.  We are a family that works together to serve one another.  Our thrift shop is cash only, it is a reminder to our patrons and volunteers of the saying on the back of the currency "In God, we trust!"
