If you are interested in becoming Catholic or learning more about the Catholic faith and grow closer to the Lord, we invite you to join us on Wednesday evenings starting in August 2023. Our first meeting will be Wednesday evening August 16th at 6:30 pm. At the first meeting you will learn about the process and will receive a schedule of our gatherings and the topics we will cover.
Our meetings will be held in the parish library/conference room over in the parish activity center at 101 N. Peters Street.
OCIA stands for the Order of Christian of Adults. The purpose of OCIA is to help individuals who are discerning joining the Catholic Church grow closer in their relationship with the Lord. While there is certainly an emphasis in learning about what we believe, it is important to see this process as a journey of faith.
To learn more about the stages we invite you to visit the United States conference of Catholic bishops website by clinking the link below

If you are interested in becoming Catholic or learning about the Catholic Church we invite you to contact us in the parish office at 717-624-4121 and speak with Becky to schedule a meeting with Father or one of the OCIA team members before the first meeting in August. Of course you are welcome to simply attend our first meeting to learn about the journey and if you are interested in continuing we will connect with you. The meeting is about getting to know you and where you are at in the journey so that we can accompany you on the road of growing closer to Christ.
You can also fill out this brief form below if you are interested in becoming Catholic or leaning more about the Catholic faith. Once you fill out the form we will reach out to schedule a meeting with either Father or one of the OCIA team members.
