Knights of Columbus Council #18543 New Oxford.
In August of 2024 our parish chartered our very own Knight of Columbus Council. It was Father Carroll's desire to bring the men of the parish together for not just fraternity but also as an invitation to participate in the life and the mission of the Church. After several weeks of inviting, we had enough members to officially form our own council here in the parish.
Today, we are still inviting more men of the parish to consider the call to be a brother Knight. What is the requirement for joining the Knights of Columbus? Here is the answer taken directly from the Knights of Columbus Website, "Membership in the Knights of Columbus is open to men 18 years of age or older who are practical (that is, practicing) Catholics in union with the Holy See." That is all that is required. While we need men to come to the meetings, one doesn't have to attend every meeting. Currently our monthly meetings are on the First Thursday of the month at 7 pm in the parish center.
Men of the parish can join easily online. Just click "Become A Brother Knight" below. In searching for our council however, in order to find our council, you must select English as your preferred language. We are currently not showing up when you type in simply the "17350" area code. If you would want to meet with a member of our council to help you to join or answer any questions you might have about our Knights of Columbus Council, please fill out the form provided on our website.

Our Lenten Project...collecting donations for New Hope Ministries!
Immaculate Conception Knights of Columbus is promoting almsgiving this Lenten season by organizing a donation drive for New Hope Ministries in New Oxford. Place donations in boxes at the back of church, March 5th through April 20th. Toiletry and personal care items are urgently needed, in addition to non-perishable food items. Label monetary contributions as “KOC Donation Drive” and put into the weekly collection basket. Please consider contributing to those less fortunate this Lent!
Suggested items include:
• Toilet paper, paper towels, facial tissues
• Feminine hygiene products
• Shampoo, soap (body and hand), toothpaste
• Laundry detergent
• Baby diapers - size 4, 5, and 6
• Cans of fruit, vegetables, meat and soup
